New show on Sundance Channel. Highly recommend it. It is about a guy who gets off death row and has to adjust to life out of prison. It is very slow (not a thriller), so if you have a short attention span you may not like it ... but it is pretty interesting.

Just finished the finale. This is an excellent show. I have always been interested in death penalty politics (I'm opposed to it), and this show presents some very interesting ideas about the practice and they idea of wrongful conviction in general.

It should be on Netflix in the near future (Netflix has already been showing it in Canada, and Top of The Lake (another Sundance show) showed up on Netflix in the U.S. shortly after it ended on Sundance). I highly recommend it.

My wife and kids were gone for just over a week, so I had some time to binge a couple shows on Netflix.

I watched Bloodline and I can't believe I finished it. It's okay, but that's about it.

Rectify was outstanding. I watched both seasons and the third season is about to premiere. It's a slow burn, but well worth it.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”
