    X-Men Wolverine

I've never seen the first two X Men movies so I'm not a real big expert on what to look for but it was pretty entertaining. Hugh Jackman does for my wife what Marsia Tomei does for me so she enjoyed it also.

Yeah he's at the top of Gidget's list too so I was thinking of taking her to see this in the hopes that I will get some. It worked with Twilight and in Gidget's hierarchy of sexiest males Hugh Jackman>Robert Pattinson. So I like my chances.

How often is Hugh's shirt off?

Hugh Jackman has consistently denied rumors that he is gay, which means that Hugh Jackman is probably gay. Not sure if that ruins it for your wife.

Often enough that it seemed to do the trick. She had to wait while I watched "My Cousin Vinny" at home but we both ended up happy.

It's a decent flick. It was a little much sometimes-- funny thing, suspension of belief. But it was worth my time, sure.

Hugh Jackman doesn't set off my gaydar. Ironically, it's because he was willing to play a flamboyantly bisexual character on stage that received a lot of notierity. I find it hard to believe that a closeted homosexual would play a role that would cause a lot of people to question his sexuality.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Here is an interesting bit of name dropping -- I have gone out on the town with Gavin Hood, the director of Wolverine.

He was dating a dear friend of mine who also worked at Frank Gehry's. He and my friend and Faith and I went on a double-date for the opening of the Disney Concert Hall (Gehry employees all got free tix). I remember chatting with him about what he does, and I just figured he was another of the thousands of wannabe UCLA grads who call themselves a 'director' as a form of wishful thinking. A couple of months later he headed back to South Africa to shoot Tsotsi, at which time he dumped my friend and hooked up with someone there. Tsotsi went on to win best foreign pic the year it was released. LA is a funny town town the way it mixes up plebs with celebs.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Overall I thought it was a good movie. As some have said, I wish there had been a little more character development, or at least an explanation of what powers various mutants had.
