I have. But its awfulness didn't make the Droid Day bit funny.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I would love it if they picked a first showing at a random theatre and mixed in the Star Wars Christmas Special after the opening scrawl in place of the real movie.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Yeah. Making fun of something that is awful isn't an automatic recipe for funny. Sort of that "two wrongs don't make a right" deal. All they've done is added another piece to the awful vault. Congrats!Originally posted by Donuthole View PostI have. But its awfulness didn't make the Droid Day bit funny.I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

Critics reviews have been released today. 97% positive through 133 reviews. From what I can tell Abrams went the safe route and showed a lot of love towards the original trilogy. Although he goes the safe route (that's not to say there aren't some really big moments) he does it in a very good way. It legitimately feels like something that belongs with the original trilogy.

Where is ERcoug!! Can someone summon him!"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Bien sur mon ami. Pourquoi pas?Originally posted by Commando View PostSo we're starting yet another Star Wars thread? And movie review thread?

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

I saw the early "non-professional" reviews from folks on twitter that were in the premiere, and they were overwhelmingly positive. The knocks on it were that it re-treads the episode IV story arc. The positives were that the acting is awesome and the characters are compelling and likable. That's good because I understand the next one is going off the rails a bit with Rian Johnson writing the thing. Can't wait! I'm set for tomorrow at 7:00 in the IMAX.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostCritics reviews have been released today. 97% positive through 133 reviews. lol. Is this your attempt to stay in keeping with the title of your thread? That movie was badass! Clearly *clearly* the best one since Empire Strikes Back.Originally posted by All-American View PostJust got back.

Yeah, I dunno. It just didn't do it for me. From looking around at others' reactions, I may be the only one.Originally posted by Commando View Postlol.
