And that was a damn-funny joke that took the song from the actual scene and combined it with your statement. I'm quite proud of it."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

BTW, the volleyball scene has nothing on the music video:

Two thoughts,
1. The girls were obviously distracted by Kenny Loggins' singing.
2. Meet the Parents' volleyball scenes may have been inspired by that video.
I watched MTV daily, and I have zero recollection of that video."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

Nice find. As a nation, we sould all be grateful for the movement in the 90's that gave us knee-length athletic shorts for men. Thank you Michael Jordan. Thank you Chris Webber and Fab 5.Originally posted by Surfah View PostIt was good.

This reminds me of a time when I was at a friend's house, probably '89. I was hanging out with him and this hot girl that we both liked. We were all lounging around and he was sitting cross legged wearing those short corduroy shorts that were popular at the time, except his nut suck was totally dangling out the side. I chose not to point it out to him.Originally posted by Colly Wolly View PostNice find. I never got Top Gun. It always seemed to me like everyone wanted to watch it because other people thought it was cool, regardless of the fact that it is super boring.Get confident, stupid

Top Gun was cool?
I'm with HFN. I thought it was extremely boring except for the flight scenes."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Looking back? I don't think she's attractive now, even in the old photos, but no one is that discriminating at age 13.Originally posted by Surfah View PostTop Gun is cool. It's a classic. Great lines. Kelly McGillis seemed way hotter the first time I saw that movie when I was a kid. Looking back she was never really attractive.
Now, I always hated "Take My Breath Away." In tooblue's words, I find it 'overwrought.'"Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. His actions are supposed to reflect his ethical code.

I liked the girls strategy. Take a time-out, discuss that in order to win the boys needed to start hitting the ball into the net.Originally posted by Surfah View PostIt was good.

I should forward this video on to Jerry Sloan. It might be helpful if he can employ the same tactic when the Jazz get down. Sloan is probably too proud to try and use something that simple though.
