Dish Vs. AMC

Looks like Dish is going to go through with their threat of removing AMC. They want to replace AMC with HDNET. Breaking Bad fans will be pissed.

I don't actually have a package that includes AMC, so it doesn't hurt me too much. I do like the Walking Dead, however, so I usually upgrade to AMC for that. So, hopefully this dispute will be settled by October.

Me too, although it took long enough for DTV to add AMCHD.

So, first Dish gives AMC the boot, and now tonight at Midnight, local Utahns are set to lose KUTV channel 2 on Dish. That is just weird.

It looks like it is part of a bigger squabble between Dish Network and Sinclair Broadcast Group.
