    Who's going to see Titanic?

I was 9 when it first came out - don't think I actually saw it until I was 13 or something, and I felt so sneaky watching it in my room by myself so my mom wouldn't know.

I don't even like it, but all the damn advertising has convinced me to go watch it in the theater at least once.

I was engaged when this came out. We both lived in a stake where the stake president for some reason came out strongly against it. Our parents are both blindly obeying stalwart types. She didn't want to see it, but I talked her into it. She felt guilty and wanted to walk out at the boobie scenes. Me being a cheesy romantic at the time, I really liked it (I already turned in my man card). She was very angry with me that I thought there was anything redeeming in a movie with boobies flashing. I was disappointed with her that she couldn't identify with the love and romance. It was our first big fight.

I've only seen the boobie scene. Is the rest of the movie any good?
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I looked at when this came out and my memory is bad. We were already married a few years.

My dad took all us kids to see it in the theatres (I was three months shy of my 18th birthday) and I was three or four seats away from pops during the film. During the "scene" dad says in his best outdoor voice "Green Monstah cover you eyes.". I tried to play it cool so people wouldn't know I was the kid getting yelled at by simply looking to my side when he all out shouts "Damn it son, don't look!". Good times.

Remember the voiceovers they did with the Celine dion song? They had a Southpark o e that was High-Larious.

At one point, I was the youngest on this board (I think), but not anymore. I was at least 11.

I saw it once, liked it, but definitely don't need to see it in 3D. Same with Star Wars: Episode I.

Just got back. I hated this movie when I first saw it, and maybe it's the sentimental girl in me who is falling in love with someone right now, but despite the awful writing (put your hands on me? REALLY?), I was a happy clam.

and I second the tidbit about Kate Winslet's boobs. Perfect.
