The Festival of Colors has been going on for probably 10 years, put on by the Krishnas at their beautiful temple in Salem, which I assume wasn't built by this kid for the video. I went to one of the earlier ones about 2005 and it was a very modest affair with only a couple thousand people dispersed over the huge estate of the Salem Krishna temple. In subsequent years they flyered BYU or got some cultural club to promote it and got a foothold because it spread like wildfire and became a massive event that you had to take a remote shuttle to arrive at because of the woefully inadequate parking. It's a free event, but they should've ticketed it so they could manage the crowd. It was such a cluster the second time I went (probably 2009) that, while I thought it was fun, I called it good and I'm sure others thought the same thing."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I don't know if I made it clear, but Devin's Dad is one of my good buddies at church. Devin just landed a gig that takes him to Aruba and Easter Island. Devin uses his Dad as a production assistant on occasion, and he's going to accompany Devin on this trip. Going to be gone one week to Aruba, and then one week on Easter Island.
Easter Freaking Island. I'm so jealous. Anybody here been to Easter Island? Woot?Comment
