About half of those are traditional Christmas songs."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

A personal favorite by Weird Al Yankovic:
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

The original post has a couple that are "traditional" Christmas songs. I think what makes it nontraditional is the artist and how they change it. I'll give you the Josh Groban - it's totally gospel, but still close to traditional - but the rest? Not your typical Christmas tunes.Originally posted by Moliere View PostAbout half of those are traditional Christmas songs.
p.s. other people posted traditional stuff, so why are you calling me out...?what I am is what I am and I does what I does.

Oh geeze. Do we need some clarification people?
New rule. You can use traditional songs, but by a nontraditional artist. These include Neil Diamond, Barbara Streisand, Bing Crosby, etc.
I am looking for some good songs to add to the ol' collection is all.Last edited by SuperGabers; 12-06-2011, 11:05 AM.

So these are example for traditional or non-traditional artists? Now I'm even more confused. If these people are non-traditional, who is traditional?Originally posted by SuperGabers View PostNew rule. You can use traditional songs, but by a nontraditional artist. Maybe a better thread title would be non-classic Christmas songs
