They put beats on hamburgers? Hmm...sounds a bit odd, but I'd give it a try.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

The hamburger was invented in Texas (athens).

From what I have read there is one going in on Central Express and another nine around Dallas. In-n-out's are popping up like weeds after the first spring rain.

I'll take a whataburger over an in-n-out any day.

I finally had my first whataburger when I went to Dallas last month. It was amazing.

This is one of the best dishes I have tried a in a long time. Tempura Asian Water Spinach. The sauce was incredible.

We use to eat at this place all the time... there's one in McKinney. I didn't know there was one in Dallas.

The Salt Lick has already made its way into the DFW airport and, of course, is one of the top airport restaurants. Now apparently the Salt Lick is looking for a Dallas location.

While waiting on the Salt Lick to get here are some other Dallas BBQ places to try (all Uncle Ted approved):

Lockhart Smoke House: http://www.lockhartsmokehouse.com (If you are a pork chop fan then give theirs a try.)

Pecan Lodge: http://www.pecanlodge.com (At the farmer's market. Excellent brisket but be prepared to wait, however. Very popular.)

Smoke: http://www.smokerestaurant.com (The Big Rib and pulled pork are good.)

                      Baker's Ribs: http://www.bakersribs.com (The ribs.)

Mike Anderson's: http://www.mikeandersonsbbq.com (Try the cheesy corn casserole or stuffed jalapeños for sides)

                      Off the Bone: http://www.offthebonebarbeque.com

Hard Eight: http://www.hardeightbbq.com ( Jalapeños wrapped in bacon. In Coppell, just north of the airport.)

                        Maple & Motor Burger...

The hamburgers are made from ground Texas brisket.

Anyone in the Dallas area want to meet up for dinner tonight? I know it's short notice but I thought I would put the offer out.

                          Oh, I'm buying.

Looks like I will be back in late June. I'll try to give more warning.

I went to Big Al's Smokehouse tonight. Average.
