You're so mean. I truly have no idea how old the song is, but I first heard it in June while in Utah.

Now, let's get to this Jagger stuff. What's with the recent tips of the cap to Jagger? First Keymoneyha and now Moran5? I don't get it.

I heard this song back in March as I was getting ready to move to AZ, and noticed they were playing Kilby. They made a lot more sense to me back then and as a kilby band. Then I saw the video and I thought, "what the hell- they're going right for the throat at the Jack Johnson fanbase/Maroon 5 swooners." I wrote that off and thought "well, the record company is just trying to market effectively"


At the SP show in Vegas, their show was being displayed as part of the rotation on the Cosmopolitan's huge marquis on the strip. Then I saw them on snl trying way too hard to make up for a clear lack of talent, awesome song notwithstanding. And then I noticed this promo pic. The lead singer is always doing this thing with his hands.



This guy just cruised by Anthony Keidis in the race for the Most Punchable Face in Music.


I cannot remain quiet any longer. These guys are douchebags. In the non-sexist way.

lol! Best explanation yet of their suckitude. But still, I like their P.U.K. song, and that punchable face was looking pretty adorable on SNL. I didn't notice that hand gesture in their SNL performance, but I could definitely see how that thing would piss a person off.

Hey I don't mean to be a jerk or subvert anyone's taste with my irrational opinions. That's not my style. Live and let live. In fact, PUK hasn't even been bounced from my running mix yet. I think my distaste/unfavorable view may root also in that they have a cool record with indie/alternative values that is inexplicably being presented like an Abercrombie commercial for mass consumption. This really isn't a band that should be playing SNL, and I don't know who's behind this, but it's not those three clueless, cute-as-a-button twenty somethings. And the hand thing? He does that on alot of their promo shots, INCLUDING the still they used on SNL from the commercial segue. Why.

I'm a big fan. Their album is one of my favorites, and holds up with Radiohead and Muse as an album (and band) that is possible to listen to in its entirety. Pumped up Kicks is fun, but all of their songs are.
