Has it started up again? It's a great show for DVR. You can watch an hour-long episode in about 20 mins.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I haven't gotten into this season much with Foxworthy. But I watched last season. I even bought some Pork Barrel BBQ rub and sauce from some guys that were on it. It's not half bad, but expensive. I bought it when a local grocer went out of business and I got it for half off.Originally posted by Maximus View Post"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

I like Dragon's Den better, but either way, it's interesting to see various principles that work in entrepreneurship at work as the investors talk with business owners. I'm always amazed that some of the business owners pass up incredibly good deals because the investor wants more than five percent of the company for his or her $100,000.Not that, sickos.

yeah it's pretty funny that with only a prototype and no sales history an inventor thinks their "company" is worth $2 million.Originally posted by thesaint258 View PostI like Dragon's Den better, but either way, it's interesting to see various principles that work in entrepreneurship at work as the investors talk with business owners. I saw an episode of this with Cuban. The inventor had breathable nostril cover product to prevent sickness/allergies etc. The sharks were mocking his product until he whipped out a $6 million dollar customer contract and then it was like "blood was in the water". It was pretty interesting to see what the sharks offered him.Dyslexics are teople poo...

i saw that as well. i wonder how much due diligence is done on these people claiming they have multi million dollar contracts from investors in dubai. this show makes me wonder why supposed billionaires need to be appearing on reality tv. i wonder what the hosts' real net worths are.Originally posted by Flystripper View Postyeah it's pretty funny that with only a prototype and no sales history an inventor thinks their "company" is worth $2 million.

I haven't watched Shark Tank but loved Dragon's Den. I'll have to give Shark Tank a try although I'm doubtful it will be better.Originally posted by thesaint258 View PostI like Dragon's Den better, but either way, it's interesting to see various principles that work in entrepreneurship at work as the investors talk with business owners. Im sure the contracts are based on the assumption the contracts/sales are real.Originally posted by camleish View Posti saw that as well. i wonder how much due diligence is done on these people claiming they have multi million dollar contracts from investors in dubai. this show makes me wonder why supposed billionaires need to be appearing on reality tv. i wonder what the hosts' real net worths are.

I assume that the deals are not finalized until due diligence is done on patents and contracts etc.Originally posted by camleish View Posti saw that as well. i wonder how much due diligence is done on these people claiming they have multi million dollar contracts from investors in dubai. this show makes me wonder why supposed billionaires need to be appearing on reality tv. i wonder what the hosts' real net worths are.

I don't get how you can not love Kevin. Without him the show is awful. When he teamed up with Cuban to buy the nose strips saying he and Cuban were big billions with b's and the other sharks were just little m's, classic.Get confident, stupid
