I'm really into this new album. I really HATE rap but love the beasties...the only explanation I've ever been able to come up for this is that the beasties never abandoned their punk roots and I still cherish my DKs, Sex Pistols, Clash, Anthrax, etc tracks

I've been busy at work; need to get a hold of this album.
"You interns are like swallows. You shit all over my patients for six weeks and then fly off."
"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault. It's my fault for overestimating your competence."

OK, I've heard this album through about 5 times now. It's my favorite.
Sentimentally, Licensed to Ill and Paul's Boutique are near and dear, but this record is STRONG. No song can EVER surpass Fight For Your Right but this album, as a whole is a work of art.
Make Some Noise alone has some killer lyrics...we get MCA slipping in an orthonology reference and a Willy Wonka nod.
Then this:
Pass me the scalple I'll make an incision
I'll cut off the part of your brain that does the bitching
Put it in formaldehyde and put it in the shelf
And you can show it to your friends and say that's my old self
Too Many Rappers is my favorite track on the album.
