    ohmygosh that was awful! The guy sounded like he was about to fall asleep. Reminds me of when Dixie Chicks remade Landslide like they didn't understand what they were singing about.

    Those are both great covers. Whiskey in a Jar is a great song and hard to mess up. I have to say that one of my favorite cover albums is "Two Rooms" which contains covers of Elton John songs. Bruce Hornsby's version of "Madman across the Water" is dynamite!

    May have been covered but I just listened to Metallica's covers of both the Irish song 'Whiskey in the Jar' and Bob Seger's Turn the Page. Love them both.

    Not bad, but I think I sill like Bill Fitz's version better. There's a little more desperation in his voice or something.

    You know cover I absolutely hate? That ridiculous folk-stomp-Zep wannabe verison of Jay-Z's 99 Problems. Reminds me of that stupid Dynamite Hack cover. Trying to sound white and ironic does not make a song very interesting.

    Depeche Mode liked SP's version of Never Let Met Down Again better than the original. Not sure what Stevie Nicks thought.
