  • I know there are some SBTB freaks here. How about Seinfeld geeks?

In the first scene of the first Seinfeld, what is discussed and what is revealed at the end of the scene.

    Both very novice questions.

Someone starts a Seinfeld thread and no one responds. You people make me sick!

In the first scene, they are discussing the top button of George's shirt. That scene is repeated nearly word for word in the final scene of the finale, when they're sitting in the cell.

My wife and I trade Seinfeld dialogue at least once a day. When we're with friends and they can't figure out what we're talking about, they've just started assuming we're quoting Seinfeld.

I'm not so much a Seinfeld trivia buff...I let my SBTB knowledge stand on its merrits...but I do remember the Moops!

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Is that the episode where Elaine and Kramer enter the school dance competetion and do the "Sprain?"
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

Elaine was not in the first episode. In fact, she didn't even know about it until she saw it on DVD. Also, that first episode Jerry's dad was played by a different actor. The only episode.

The other thing about that first scene from the first show they sat at a middle table of a diner. The waitress gave George regular coffee instead of decaf to mess with him. That waitress was going to be a regular but the never used her again.

          I love Seinfeld.

SBTB? No idea what that is.

I consider myself a semi-casual Seinfeld fan. I've seen some episodes and liked most of what I saw, but I never made plans to watch it. If it happened to be on as I clicked through the channels and there wasn't a game on, I'd watch it.

Ok, the show I've never watched.

Now, if we want to talk The Andy Griffith Show when Barney Fife was there, I can add a lot to this topic.

I've seen every episode at least 15 times each, and there are several that still make me laugh as hard as the first time I saw it. My favorite is the Merv Griffin Show episode. You owe it to yourself to track it down and watch it.

And there's a scene from The Abstinence when Kramer's teeth have turned brown from smoking. Michael Richards acting in that scene is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

If I were to seek out one episode to watch, it would be the one where George wants the hospital to pay for damages to his car by the patient who committed suicide. I believe it's the same one with pig man.

I like the one where George does and says the exact opposite of what he usually does.

                          That entire episode is hillarious.
