  • The RT "Under 10% Club"

Rotten Tomatoes doesn't have one but I think they should. To make the list here no need to technically be under 10% on Rotten Tomatoes but it helps as a benchmark for identifying movies so incredibly bad that they might almost be worth watching.

To kick things off I give you - 10,000 BC.

Here is another one. I'd bet the only reason it scored 9% is because the voters either thought Tara Reid or Ashton Kutcher were hot.

10000 bc didn't bother me. I've seen much worse, Black Swan comes to mind.

I can support this motion with evidence:

I shld note that this thread only accepts "top critics" for percentage references as we're not really interested in what Joyce from Cincinatti has to say.

                DAMN.

Not only does "the Season of the Witch" meet the 10% benchmark, it obliterates it with a perfect 0% score from Top Critics - 20 'Top Critics' and 20 negative reviews. I don't know if it's unprecedented but I don't remember seeing a perfect ZERO on a film that had ten or more reviews.

I'm still baffled how Lady in the Water didn't make the under 10% club.

If you go by top critics, H.I. McDunnough makes the list again.

A twist on this game: Which movie has the biggest discrepancy between the opinions of the critics and the viewers?

For example, as I'm reviewing RT today, I noticed "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son" drew a 6% from critics and a 70% from viewers, for a viewer-favored discrepancy of 64%.
