    My mom on Reese Witherspoon:

It looks like Snooki did her hair.

Who knew my mom was into pop culture?

Robin Roberts is twice the size of any guy in Hollywood.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I don't think you're allowed to be over 5'10" to get a SAG card.

I'm pulling for 127 Hours and James Franco but I'm guessing King's Speech rolls.

Ok, actually this is unwatchable. I'll just check who won later.

I've seen 6 of the 10 Best Picture Nominees: My favorite was "The Fighter".Social Network was very well done,,,,but meh...kinda boring.

I enjoyed King's Speech. I like feel good stories when done well.

True Grit was a lot of fun. Jeff Bridges was great but Colin Firth probably deserves to win. The way he portrayed the nuances of those who struggle with stuttering was right on.
Mine too. I saw 8 of the 10, a record for me.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

You guys actually watch that stuff? The movie industry kissing it's own butt. I can't participate.

If you are doing it in order to draw closer to your spouse, well that is OK.

Ok I checked in just in time to see the "If I Rise" performance. The music is an enormous part of why 127 Hours is so emotionally powerful, so I'd love to see it get some acknowledgment.

Edit: Oh, I didn't realize there was a trite Pixar song in play. Should have seen that coming.
