I was bored tonight and consulted my DVD collection. I ended up putting on A History of Violence -- Rah, Rah, Rah Sis Boom Bah! It's about the 20th time I've watched the movie, so I realized it's one of my "go-to" movies. Just wondering what are other people's go-to movies?

I'm always disappointed by how few cronenberg films I've seen. Liked history of voilence and loved eastern promises. Really need to hit up netflix for more of his stuff,So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Ronin - best car chase scenes in at least three decades
just about any Akira Kurosawa movie (Seven Samurai, Rashomon, Throne of Blood)
The Professional
Dumb and Dumber
Hero (fabulous cinematography and story, and Quentin Tarantino had NOTHING to do with it besides rubbing his sticky fingers on it)
The Life of Brian/The Meaning of Life/Holy Grail/Brasil
Memento
Twelve Monkeys
Serenity (excellent mix of Star Wars and Spaghetti Westerns...)

To be fair, Tarantino attaching his name to it had a lot to do with getting that film a wide American release and a ton of marketing dollars behind it. He's never attempted to take any credit for the film or anything. He just wanted people to see it.Originally posted by NorthwestUteFan View Post

Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.
