  • "The Tourist"

I didn't see any posts about this movie in the first 4 pages here, so I'll just say that as I walked out of this one last night I said to my wife, "I want the last two hours of my life back." It was a great movie, except for the lack of a character the viewer cares about, the lack of character development, the unbelievable plot, the twist that makes no sense, and the endless Angelina Jolie close-ups. Oh, and it was boring to boot.

    ― W.H. Auden

I was surprised that Johnny Depp would be part of such a piece of junk.

He probably had a hole in his schedule and decided to plug it for a couple dozen mil. The film was a musical chairs of directors and actors, so I imagine they were willing to pay handsomely for Depp.

It was discussed a bit in the "last movie" thread. Consensus was it's awful.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Yet somehow, it warranted a golden globe nominee for Best Picture--Comedy or Musical

              LOL. That's a great review.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.
