I've been meaning to see Exit Through the Gift Shop. How was it?

It's pretty great, and it's on Netflix instant right now. That was the top of our queue and we just watched it. Next are more discs from Dexter: Season 3 and then Renaissance, some animated movie starring Daniel Craig that I can't remember adding.

As for #5 on my list, disc 1 of the Planet Earth series I'm really hoping it's the series some of you were raving about a year or two ago. I think it was Lebowski and a couple of others who said it was well worth watching? If it's not what I think it is, someone feel free to let a brother know.

Planet Earth was awesome, there is also one that was out about a year ago called Life. Both are awesome and well worth watching.

I did. In fact, I think that was the only option for that series.

For those of you who get blu-rays from Netflix, do you find that they often are not watchable? A friend tells me that about 30% of the time he's unable to watch the whole movie due to freezing or skipping. He said Netflix has told him that something about the blu-ray manufacturing process makes them easier to break and that the problem is not an easy fix. He says he can now see the problem before he even puts in the movie and just sends it right back. Something about a small crack at the center of the disc. Anyway, I've received exactly one and there was one chapter that I was unable to view. Based on that incredible sample size, I'm thinking there's something to what he's saying.

He also told me that if it happens you should always report it online. Apparently they'll ship your next disc (your choice of a replacement or the next movie on your queue) prior to receiving the damaged one.

This is true. I've had to do this with consecutive discs once or twice, and it's hassle-free.
