Worst Movies of 2010

Here's the AV Club's annual list of worst movies. I managed to not see a single one of these (although I know that in the case of Jonah Hex, my brain will eventually lose out to my comic-book-loving heart.)

Speaking for myself, the worst movies I saw this year were probably

• Clash of the Titans--mostly just stupid. It could have been so much fun!
• The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus--Incoherent and messy but I still liked the concept of 4 different actors playing the same role.
• The Wolfman--Just terrible. It's like Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del Toro were engaging in some kind of bad acting contest.

Were any of you less fortunate? What are your picks for worst movie of the year?

Grown Ups has to be up there, as well. I hated that movie before it was even released simply because of the previews. "I want to get chocolate wasted" :igiveup:

The only one of those that I saw was Hot Tub Time Machine. Easily my pick for worst film of the year. I've had bouts of nausea that were funnier.

Marmaduke definitely makes the list as does another, and much worse children's offering about wolves howling (I forget the name).

Clash of the Titans was not as bad as the other greek myth offering: Lightning Thief.

Clash of the Titans was not as bad as the other greek myth offering: Lightning Thief.

I thought the opposite. LT is/was billed as a kids movie and did a fine job. COTTs was a remake of a classic and all they did was butcher the story and add in special effects. Neither was amazing, but one lived up to its billing.

I fell asleep during both at the threatre. I know nothing of the original Titans, so I was only comparing it to LT, which was incredibly stupid. I try to avoid watching those kids shows, but I have to give into my wife sometimes. Both of those shows were her choice.
