Free Movie Screenings!

It's been suggested that I start a thread where I can alert people to some of those free movie screenings that happen from time to time. I'll just bump it each time a new one comes on my radar if people are interested.

The way these screenings work is relatively simple. You print out a free pass that's good for usually two tickets. Then you need to go down to the theater early to exchange the pass for actual tickets. They overbook these free screenings, so it helps to go down at least an hour in advance of the show time. (At Larry Miller theatres they start letting you trade your passes in for reserved seat tix at 4 pm on the day of the show. Which is why Larry Miller theatres are the best.)

Here's the thing, if you go to www.gofobo.com right now and register and log in, there are passes available for a screening of True Grit on Monday in Salt Lake. No RSVP code necessary. Note that there are a few screenings of the movie listed. This one is for Monday, December 13 at 7 pm. Hope to see you there!

Glad to hear Commando enjoyed True Grit. We have a big group of friends all going on opening night so we gave our screening passes to our pregnant friend who is due on the night the rest of us are seeing it. She said it was pretty packed.
