  • Howard Cunningham no longer feeling frisky

Apparently Tom Bosley has passed away. RIP, Tom.

Tom was part of the pulse of pop culture, with his role in Happy Days, as well as his recurring 80s stint as the face of GLAD products and his lesser known yet still appreciated role in the animated "All in the Family," "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home." Does anyone remember that cartoon? I loved it.

He was ranked #9 of all-time best TV dads. I would agree with that. He had a great style on the show....a nice balance between wise and wisecracker. Allowed biker guy to live above his garage and have access to his teen daughter. Would occasionally show up to eat with his wife at local teen burger hangout. And laid it down on Marion Ross during her heydey. Happy Days, indeed!

    Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

That's sad. I won't get mad, I'll get glad and celebrate his life!

I think June Cleaver died a couple of days ago as well. The most surprising thing about that is that she was still alive in 2010. I had no idea.

          Bummer.

I prefer remembering him as Howard Cunningham rather than Father Downing.
