    Songs I love that prove me to be a little bit off

    These are all going back a few years.

      whole of the moon doesn't make you off. That song is classic. Waterboys is good stuff.

          Can you define "off," because I think that's some good stuff.

              When I was at BYU and a few years after, I listened to Waterboys and Aztec Camera all the time - not exactly mainstream music. My siblings thought my taste in music was weird.

              I guess "off" here means a little off the beaten path. Of course, in my opinion, that's where you find the best stuff.

                  If you mean "off the beaten path," I've got one. I've loved the band Lucero since I saw them open for The Get Up Kids at their final concert in Kansas City in 2005 (TGUK's final concert, not Lucero's). I've spent considerable effort since then trying to get someone, anyone to like them, too, but I've never been successful. I love them, and I think they're wonderful, but my inability to convince anyone of that fact makes me put them "off the beaten path."

                          It feels funny to say he is under appreciated, but I still think Prince is an under appreciated genius. Was reminded of that a day or two ago when I heard this in the car:
