  • STP at RedRocks

I'm going to be attending a conference in Denver next week, which just happens to be the same week that Stone Tmeple Pilots is playing at RedRocks. On Tuesday the conference is over at noon and doesn't start back up until the next morning so I basically have the entire afternoon and evening to do something. I like STP and would like to see them play but I'm not necessarily inclined to go to a concert alone.

There are other alternatives in Denver and I've thought of driving down to Pike's Peak and seeing that and some other stuff in Colo Springs (I know it's a drive but I have like 12 hours to kill).

Have any of you attended a concert alone? Would seeing a concert at RedRocks be worth it? Are there better things to do in Denver with my time?
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Paging DU Ute, DU Ute to the white courtesy phone please.
"The first thing I learned upon becoming a head coach after fifteen years as an assistant was the enormous difference between making a suggestion and making a decision."

"They talk about the economy this year. Hey, my hairline is in recession, my waistline is in inflation. Altogether, I'm in a depression."

"I like to bike. I could beat Lance Armstrong, only because he couldn't pass me if he was behind me."
