One of my most memorable filmgoing experiences was when I went to see his sophomore effort RUSHMORE. I had read good things about it and heard it was unique. (Hadn't seen BOTTLE ROCKET yet.) I couldn't get anybody to go with me and when I showed up for the matinee screening, I was the only person in the entire theater. It's kind of a weird feeling laughing alone in a big theater but I think it somehow helped me appreciate the movie even more.Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.
