My band was invited to try out for the Vans Warped Tour

It's funny because we haven't even really gotten together to play yet. We don't even have a name yet. My brother's mostly working on writing songs right now. He and his college roommate (and lead guitarist) have both written and recorded a bunch of stuff over the years.

My brother and his friend have some songs recorded and posted on the Pure Volume website. My brother just sent a link to the Warped people, to see if they'd respond. Apparently they went to the website, listened to the four songs posted there, and responded with an invitation to try out.

We're not going to do it, but it's nice to see that maybe there's some potential there before we even put together a demo or do any shows.
