Starting the official thread now as it looks like this will end up AMC's newest series.
The show is set and takes place in Seattle (which is enough to get me to watch, even though they'll film in Vancouver), and is based on an acclaimed Dutch TV series involving the murder of a young girl. The story then follows the girls family, the police, and the suspects.
Not the most original premise, but sounds Wire-esque in that it will attempt to offer a critical analysis of the local police and political scene as they attempt handle a murder investigation. And of course the other two AMC shows are probably the two most acclaimed shows on television right now, so I'm assuming the quality here is going to be very high and they'll do something unique with the idea.
Anyway, the pilot doesn't even begin filming until next month, so this thread may need a bump in a few months. It's being directed by Patty Jenkins, who did Monster and episodes of Entourage and Arrested Development.
