    Moon

Last night I watched Moon via an iTunes rental:

It is a sci-fi movie set in in the not too distant future where the main character is working solo to manage a mostly automated mining operation on the far side of the moon. A few days after an accident he encounters another person: himself. Things get crazy from there.

I really liked this movie. It reminded me of GATTACA in some ways. A sci-fi movie that relies on plot, character development, and good writing/acting rather that special effects and laser fights. Except for a couple of brief exceptions, one actor carries the entire movie. It is also a bit of a homage to 2001: A Space Odyssey since one of the main "characters" is a talking computer.

Rated R for a mild bit of sensuality (dreaming of his wife) and a few f-bombs.

I thought it was fantastic. Have you seen Solaris?

A guy in my ward has been trying to get me to see this for months. Guess I need to get on that.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
