    The Green Zone

Has anyone here seen this movie yet?

The previews looked like a Bourne Identity installment and since I love the Jason Bourne franchise, I figured this one would be a good one.

However, early BO returns are not good. In fact, they are really awful.

    Is this a bad movie?

As a Bourne fanatic I do not plan on watching this one.

Matt Damon and his ubber liberal opinion combined with a movie about a soldier who is hell bent on exposing Bush in Iraq about the myth of WMD's does not sound like a movie I want to see considering Damons opinion on the matter and his feelings about Bush. I think the integrity of the movie is not there... Just another Bush hating movie..

I have a feeling it will just leave a sour taste in my mouth...

So, if this movie was put out in 2013, you would be into it?

                Not sure I follow.

If Matt Damon's real life feelings mirror those of his character, then wherein is integrity lacking?

Also, given that history has shown that WMD was not found in Iraq and that the reliability of the evidence has since been deemed to be questionable, it would seem that you should have no problem with the movie.

                help me out here.

ps I haven't seen the movie so your criticisms could be accurate.

The WMD debate can take on a life of it's own. so I will not go there.

My point of the integrity of the movie is based on the opinion that Matt Damon (Who has expressed his feelings of hatred outwardly towards Bush) would not be in a movie that is in any way balanced towards him nor to the Iraq war on the WMD's etc. It is a action thriller with a little hint of political fodder leaning in one direction. So I will chose not to partake. It just that simple..

This viewpoint strikes me as the same sort of imbalance that you are bemoaning, simply in the opposite direction.

anyway, has anyone here actually seen the movie? It looks like a big phat no.

Just remember that opening weekend box-office returns are rarely an indicator of quality. The movie is definitely getting some mixed reviews however. A few friends who have seen it recommend it highly and said it's definitely an intense action movie. Of course, I'm just a big Bush-hating hippie liberal so the politics can only be an extra incentive to see it in my case.
Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...

None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.

I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

My view point is on a message board site that is full of intelligent thinkers that will do as they please. My view may not be balanced towards the movie but I have a fairly good idea that I am not wrong. I guess I could go see it and prove my assumption correct or wrong, but why waste the $8 dollars on that..

You could go to a matinee and only waste $5.50.

Your movie review lacks integrity (esp since you have yet to see the movie).
