    I Can't Deny It

    junkie's Petey Pablo reference had me remembering my favorite awful hip-hop songs. I really do have a soft spot for bad hip-hop especially when it is accompanied by an equally bad music video. Petey Pablo's Raise Up was a classic of this genre.

    Another one of my favorites. I'm not sure it is possible to have more hip-hop video cliches packed into 4 minutes. Language warning

      mp, can you give me an example of good rap/hip-hop? Just as you can't tell the difference between Journey and Foreigner, all of the rap/hip-hop sounds the same to me.

      I really would like to know what the good stuff is. I'm an ignoramus when it comes to that genre.

          The Petey Pablo reference reminds me of a funny story. When I got back from my mission in '01, that song was huge and all over the place. One day I was riding in the car with my baby bro (he was probably 7 or so at the time) and that song comes on the radio. When the chorus hits, my little brother takes his shirt off and starts swinging it around above his head. That had me laughing pretty good.
