    Pride & Prejudice

I just got done watching the Keira Knightley version. For some reason, P&P is one of my wife's favorite Christmastime movies. I like the sass of Elizabeth Bennet so I don't mind it at all. For all of you fans of the PBS version, I have news for you. It's got nothing on the newer one. Nothing.

Do you paint your nails before or during the movie?

Nothing? I'd say it has about four hours on the newer one.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Notice anything about that list? Everyone is awesome and you're excluded.

I thought this thread was going to be an honest self-assessment and introspection.

          what a disappointment.

Humility is one of your more endearing traits. Of course you're awesome, creekster.

But how could I have forgotten our bodybuilding Ivy League finance professor? I fear for Art Vandalay if he ever crosses paths with pelagius. I'm pretty sure pelagius would punch his lights out.

With four daughters, Pride and Prejudice (BBC version) has played on my TV countless times, but I don't think I've ever watched the whole series. But wasn't there a truly fantastic modern version based in Provo? Now that might be worth watching

YOhio, Aristides is a fan of Pride and Prejudice as well. He prefers Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy, but thinks both Jennifer Ehle and Keira Knightley make great Elizabeth Bennetts.

Yep. A Mormon/BYU version. Came out 2-3 years ago, IIRC.

                        Yes, I have seen it.

I agree, but I kind of liked the Bollywood version -- Bride and Prejudice.
