    Rock 'n Roll Blasphemy:

I'm in an 80s vein today and I'm listening to Axl, Slash, and the boys while I grade papers. I've come to the following conclusion:

"Sweet Child O' Mine" is not that great of a song.

Contrastingly, I love GnR's cover of "Since I Don't Have You."

    Please share your blasphemies.
We all trust our own unorthodoxies.

I have gained a great appreciation for the awesomeness that was GNR at its apex. November Rain still resonates (as does the image of Stephanie Seymour in the video).

Eddie Van Halen can still rock, speaking of 80's guitar virtuosos.

No thtat great of a song why? Ennui from too much exposure or something musically about it? Hard to criticize its chord strucutre as too simple in the rock world.
        PLesa excuse the tpyos.
