I picked up a pair of V-modas from Costco today. They sound good and have detachable ear hooks to make them stay on while exercising.

I agree. I have a pair and they are amazing. Great for travel, exercise, and my personal favorite...mowing the grass.

I assume this is sarcasm by DDD, but I recently bought a pair (is that the correct term for headphones?) of beats and the sound quality is much better than the Sony ones they replaced. Both were about $300.

that is very unfortunate. I used to require sony in-ears before the ipod headphones came out I hate having my ear canals sealed off while i'm running. It makes my footsteps thud in my ears.
