  • I don't know why, but even as bad as this year has been, I still like the show. A guilty pleasure I suppose. But this year could get pretty boring pretty fast.

What seems so obvious to the television audience and Troyzan is lost on the 4 losers (Tarzan, Leif the little guy, the Asian girl, and the chubby gym teacher). Now they have lost any opportunity they might have had to prolong their stays and they don't even seem aware of what is going on. Seeing Leif go doesn't bother me at all; a really boring, dumb, dormant player. What was up with the clown face at the challenge?

The four alpha girls (dumb blonde, black girl, pretty enhanced girl, and Kim) are playing it pretty well, not taking any chances of someone playing an idol. No doubt the dumb blonde is the first one to go when it comes to the final four.

So this is where the boring starts. The final three (Kim, black girl, and pretty enhanced girl) are running the show and outside of Troyzan winning every immunity challenge, I don't see how we don't end up with those three at the end. How anticlimactic. The four losers missed the chance for some real drama going forward.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Sometimes I wonder how someone got on the show having not understood how the game works. I think Tarzan is banking on the fact that nobody likes him so maybe the girls will take him to the final three. I can totally see the dumb blonde playing the card that was played a few years ago by the winner "this was my strategy all along...ride coattails and get to the end."

I think we see Troyzan win a few more challenges and maybe the big 3-4 in charge will implode.

Leif was a very forgettable player.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I LOL'ed at his departing statement... something like, "I felt like it was coming sooner or later." In other words, a man with no sense of control over his fate. It is no wonder that Troyzan couldn't convince him to make an obvious and sensible move.

I think the blonde girl was probably selected for the show BECAUSE she is so unintelligent. Lief wasn't as obviously dim, but might have also been picked for the same reason (plus his stature).

          • Spoiler for Spoiler:
We finally saw the end of Troyzan. Despite his efforts to get people to realize that there is a pretty clear cut final three, he got voted off. Then, Kat had a chance to make a big move in the game and not be viewed as a "weak" player and what does she do? Votes with Kim. Nope, you're not a follower at all!

Exactly. Such a weak, weak season. Making no moves at the end So weak.

It'll be even funnier when she gets bounced next week.

Here is the order of people who will get voted off:

                  Christina
                  Alicia
                  Kat
                  Tarzan

                  Here is why:

Christina has already been branded as 'disloyal,' so she is an easy bandwagon pick for ousting.

Alicia goes next because she is less easy to manipulate than Kat and Tarzan.

Kat goes next because IF she is part of the final three, she could pick up a lot of sympathy votes from people who feel slighted by the 'power girls.'

Tarzan goes next, assuming he doesn't win immunity, because the 'power girls' need to make sure that jury can only choose between fellow 'power girls.' I think it is unlikely that he wins immunity, but he could get lucky (the way he did when he took Troy out of the challenge).

Yeah, that sounds about right. The show's producers try very hard to generate some kind of drama by picking out the content that suggests things will go down differently, but in the end it all goes to the script the three alpha females have written.

This has got to be the dumbest bunch of survivors in the history of the show.

If the black girl and the jock girl were smart, they would turn on the pretty girl and bring along the Asian girl or the chubby gym teacher. Given a choice, a jury full of guys will to pick the prettiest girl. They are guys after all.

                    • Boy, Kat really set herself up on that one...from the minute her cousin showed up and they started speaking gibberish to one another, I knew it would be trouble for her. From there it just got worse. Not taking Tarzan on the challenge was a surprise...not as much with Christina because they don't seem to care about her, regardless of what is going on with her father.

I think it's great that Kat and Alicia think they are running the game. It would take a minor miracle for Kim to not make it to the end and the only question then is who she takes with her. She'd be smart to take Christina, because she'll get no votes...and I would think Alicia wouldn't get any votes either. Her big competition right now is Chelsea, with whom she seems to be closely aligned so I won't be surprised to see her make a move to get Chelsea out at some point.

The ho-hum season continues, but I can't get enough...oh, and how about Troyzan just glaring at them the whole time...get over yourself buddy, you lost.

                      • It was pretty funny that Kat mentioned how fun it was to blindside somebody and then she gets blindsided.

                        • I actually enjoyed the episode last night. "If there's a blindside, then cool bean, touchee, you know?"

I can't tell if Tarzan is playing his cards right or not. Part of me thinks that he's being a monstrous wuss in basically selling out to get to final three. He'll get no female votes, but all of the guys on the jury are bent out of shape at the ladies enough that I wonder if they'll vote for him just to spite Kim.

If the ladies were smart, Kim would be the next to go as soon as she fails to win immunity. I'm not sure anyone other than Sabrina is smart enough to figure that out (well, maybe Tarzan, but he's hoping to ride Kim's coattails to the finale).

She said that and then cried the whole way out...so it wasn't a total touche on here part.

Kim also has an immunity idol, so if she gets wind that she might be voted out then she could play it...but they've got to be getting close to the time where people can't play those anymore.

                              • The only icing on the cake I wanted was for Jeff to say (Right after the blindside). "Now wasn't that fun"!! As Kat walks away..

That was the most enjoyable episode so far for me in a very dull season..
