I haven't, but that sounds fun that your friend is going on tour with such a big group. That will probably be a non-stop party.

Well this guy is about as crazy as they come so I am sure it will be. The 24th and the 25th they will be in your neck of woods at Chain Reaction in Anaheim, and Knitting Factory in LA.

They actually have no label, they have had plenty of offers but they do everything on their own and control the rights to all of their music. So right now you can go to Ohnonotstereo.com and download the newest album for free.

both of those venues are great, but tiny.

chain reaction is in a strip mall, right next door to a woman's clothing store. the actual venue is about as big as your standard Relief Society room. I saw a band there called "the weakerthans" and it was so crowded, some people were actually sitting on the edge of the stage and on the ground on the sides of the stage.

knitting factory is a local landmark, esp for the 80s LA Metal scene. For some reason, the KF also hosted a lot of 80s alt bands when they were first coming to LA from the UK. Kind of a weird ix of music, as venues often take on specific musical personalities.

I played at the Knitting Factory a couple of years ago. Are they on the main stage?

Nope, don't know any of them.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Yes, he just told me that this is the last show at the Knitting Factory as they are closing. Last main stage show.

They toured with All American Rejects in Europe over the summer, also played SXSW, Warped Tour, and toured with Sugarcult.
