I think this album deserves its own thread. It has already reached classic status for me and is going to go down in history with The Chronic, The Marshall Mathers LP, All Eyez on Me, Me Against the World and a few others.

Jay-Z has retired more times than Brett Favre but he is still bringing it. Right now my favorite song on the album is Run This Town (mainly because it would make great MMA entrance music). But D.O.A. and Empire State of Mind are right up there.

Venus vs Mars is the best on the album IMO.

Timbaland came with a sick beat and the last verse was absolutely ridiculous.

Fell for the ponzi scheme, damn short just Madoff.

Picked the album up. I gotta agree, it is one of the better hip hop albums I've heard in a while.
