My brother that lives in Japan sent me this link. He said it's the intro to a kids show that his little son watches. As boring as that sounds this is worth the watch. I could see Lebowski setting these up in his basement.

Funny because I had the same reaction. In 8th grade we had to do Rube Goldberg projects for physical science. It was a ridiculous project in scope for kids our age. It had to have 3 forms of energy and like 8 reactions before causing a bell to ring which was the goal.

My favorite was the one for the Honda commercial. It's all parts from a Honda. And it is real.

The Honda one was pretty cool, but I can't believe that it was all real. Especially the part where the wheels (tire + rim) roll UP HILL after a small tap. The speakers part and the windshield wipers were pretty sweet though.

I still don't see how they explained the tires going uphill. Do we have any engineers on the board? I just want to know how that's possible.

The wheels are weighted more heavily on one side, and that side is placed at an angle. That weight "falling" to the ground is enough to push the tires up the ramp.
