Ask DHole, once you use BB messenger you aren't limited to 160 characters, plus there is a special icon to notify of new messages instead of just the standard envelope icon.

Medical apps are way over-priced. iDefibrillator totally drains your battery, and isn't worth $400.

ok, i can see that. but if you are using a blackberry, then why not send an email, esp if the concern is being limited to 160? Also, how does the BB messenger work? is it part of your standard BB enterprise server or is it part of your carrier's SMS offering?

In one month. Granted, one of them was over $500 by itself, but that still leaves over $400 for other apps that I bought.

That store is addictive. I look everyday to see if a new medical application came out. I'm lucky in that my hospital gave me a large sum of money to buy this type of stuff.

I can totally remember the allure of the McDonal's Martin-Brower crew gear catalog. We were allowed to order pins for our hats. The number of pins on your hat was a serious source of pride and pecking order..........you got them for being there during promotions (like Monopoly) or when they opened the first one in Moscow (1990). You also got them for time served, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, etc. I once dropped a whole Jackson on a complete set of Atlanta Olympics pins. I looked totally decked out in my shiny Olympic pins that no one else had. People offered to buy them from me, but I wasn't frontin' that. I'm lucky that my boss let me order stuff without having earned it, because I could tell that people in the drive-thru really respected me more when I leaned out to give them their bag of sausage biscuits and they caught the glint of cheap Chinese cloisonné on my head that signified "this kid's going places."

The MLB at bat app is flippin sweet. You can watch every game on your phone. It's pretty much why I got an iphone.

I love it, too, but I've never had good luck with the video. It keeps stopping and buffering. I've tried this on both the edge and 3G networks. I've used the radio a lot more than I have the video.

I've spent probably $30-35 on iPhone apps. The lure of Yahtzee, Farkle, and UNO were too strong to resist.

A friend of mine is writing iPhone apps and making bank.

So much bank that he's not interested in finishing the last six hours he needs for his bachelor's from BYU.

It's been ok for me. At least once a game, though, it comes back from a commercial break, plays for a minute or so, and then goes back to the last out of the prior half inning. Weird.

I'm hoping the NFL never starts broadcasting games on iphones. I have no idea how I'll conceal a headphone during Sacrament Meeting.
