  • Electric razors

Anyone have a preference on an electric razor for shaving? I've been using a Gillette Mach3 razor for a long, long time. It works great, but I'm starting to wonder if going to an electric razor would (1) save me time and (2) save me hassle. Thoughts?

There are still people who shave with razors?

Dollar Shave club sends me $6 worth of blades every other month. $3/month for a continuous supply of sharp triple blades shipped to your house is a no-brainer.

Full beard. Let it grow! Let it grow!

Just got a new Philips Norelco beard trimmer. Haven't used it yet.

And one of these that gets used about once a week.

I have both. I prefer to use a blade (Gillette Mach 5). I think I can shave faster with blade vs manual. And it is much closer.

Sorry about that. I don't actually have to shave my toes.

No electric for me. DE with a good blade and a quality shave cream.

I've never used an electric shaver and don't have any plans to start.

I experimented with the old school safety razor, old-school shave cream that you mix in a mug, and a shaving brush for two years. I am now back to Gillette Mach 3. The only thing I have retained from my old-school experiment is the shaving brush to apply the shave cream that comes out of the can and the Clubman aftershave.

You guys should invest in some Asian genes and tweezers. Works for me.

I can't use electric razors. My neck gets razor burned and gnarly ingrown hairs.

OG helped me see the light when I made the switch to double edged safety razors. Cheap, disposable, but work really well (get the Astra brand).
