    Were you born LDS?

    Were you born LDS?

    Are you a Convert?

Were you born into another religion?

Did you come from a part member family where One of your parents was LDS and the other was not?

I was born into an LDS Family. Both parents.

Born into it. I think the last convert in my family tree was a great-great grandfather back in Switzerland.

            Not born LDS.

Parents were Catholic, which means they never went to Mass and religion wasn't a huge part of our upbringing.

I was not baptized as a baby and did not participate in Holy Communion. I did go to Mass two or three times in my life, almost always on Easter. We did try to go once on Christmas Eve, but, and I am NOT kidding, we were walking into Mass and my sister told my mom that she forgot to set the VCR to record "It's A Wonderful Life," so we left and went home and watched it. I still carry that important life lesson with me today, esp during the NBA playoffs. My mom was a wise woman.

I joined the Church in high school and it upped my make-out stats considerably. My petting average dropped below the Mendoza line, unfortunately.

Parents were baptized in their mid 30's. I was born a year after they were baptized.

It is a little known fact that I was born LDS. But that changed around ten years ago when I got married.

I was born into an LDS Family. Both parents.
Raised catholic, but, was not baptized catholic until the age of 8 because my family also regularly attended a faith healer's services. I attended catholic church, completed my first communion, and even served as an altar boy for a couple of years. As I reached my teen years I began skipping mass to play sports at the park. Eventually, I stopped attending church.

During the Summer of 1976 while I was about enter my freshman in HS I met an inactive member of the Church, who despite being inactive, sent the missionaries to our home. During that time, my mother was searching for another religion and was investigating the evangelical/pentecostal religions by attending tent revivals. LDS missionaries eventaully made their way to our home and my mother was very receptive. Us kids were not, but, the missionaries were persistent and continued to visit our home over the course of two years. We went through the discussions several times and eventually were baptized as a family during the Summer of 1978.
