Card Games for a 4 or 5 year old

We are going to be in Lake Powell all of next week and I am looking for some suggestions on some games I can play with my little girl while hanging out on a house boat for a week.

My daughter loves Uno, we are playing about 10 to 15 hands a day now. Mainly because the only other ones she knows are Old Maid and go fish. Both of which I can't stand. I like Uno, she is good at it and understands the game. I want some ideas on some other games that I might enjoy a little more than Old Maid and Go fish to play with her. Yes, this is very selfish on my part.

Kids are surprisingly good at Memory. You can obviously play it with a deck of cards, or go spring for the $5 Dora version at Walmart. It's a good game in that I have to try my best to beat my girl at it and I don't hate it.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

War! At least my boys enjoy that one.

Try dominos. Seriously. I recently taught my kids how to play and they like it. My kids are 4.5 so your daughter should be able to pick it up.

It is actually a pretty easy game to learn, it is very visual, the kids have fun, and they practice their counting and logic skills. If they can play Uno, they can throw some bones.

Additionally, it is a good reason to sit around with your children and drink 40s of Olde English, smoke pot, and make some fast cash.
            Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

We spent 3 weeks in Hawaii a few years back chilling every night on the lanai playing Old Maid and the loser would have to reach into a bag and pull out one of those disgusting Bertie Bott's jelly beans to eat. It was so much fun.

I had a vomit bean and a baby wipe bean the other day. I couldn't bring myself to try the popcorn/earwax bean, in case I got a third nasty one. I was cursing Bertie Bott that day.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I'm guessing you would probably hate "War" too, but that should be an easy game for kids.

I have found that kids in that age range enjoy 'strip poker.'

I still love War, it is the game of choice when I backpack with my friends.

A couple I remember playing in addition to those mentioned are Crazy Eights (not that different from UNO, though) & slapjack. I'd also recommend mille as a fun variation of rummy.
