    I'm mad, are you?

    I just want to let everybody know that I'm mad. I was "informed" that my application for employment and background check has yet to be "received". So, I just filled this out for the 3rd time. I've decided that I will make copies of ALL forms I have to submit for the next three years.

    Plus, I was told I had to complete a fatigue course online before employment begins. Stupid, because my login to do the course is my university login, which I have yet to receive.



    What are you mad about?

              I'm not mad at all. I prefer a peaceful life without controversy.

                      We only post in our own threads -- we're self-promoting that way. It's how we maintain the illusion of import.

                          I'm mad that my father died 20 months ago of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease and that I never got to say goodbye to him. I'm mad because I'm alone on Father's Day so my wife can be with her father who is dying of sarcoidosis. I'm mad that the redfish that my grandpa caught in Apalachicola Bay back in October, when my grandfather and I (whose wife we buried on Monday) could finally bring ourselves to go scatter my dad's ashes at his favorite fishing hole, tastes like fish instead of all the seasoning I put into its preparation. But, really...I'm not all that mad....just sad....but I'll be better tomorrow. Today's a bad day.
