    The Food Babe!

    Anyone heard of this chick?

Food Babe - Hot On The Trail To Investigate What's Really In Your Food

She has a popular blog, a book, and has become a celebrity of sorts. Her schtick is to point out all the toxins and dangerous chemicals in common foods. But her ignorance of basic science is so bad that it would make Jenny McCarthy blush. This of course, has led to all sorts of hilarity.

    Funny article dissecting her nonsense:

Also, go to Twitter and check out #foodbabefacts. A few examples:

And there are some funny food babe memes out there.

Never heard of her. She doesn't seem like a babe. More like a mom. Mabye "FoodMom" would be a better name for her.

Looks like she has 1,460 likes on Facebook, which makes her about 4 times less popular than John Dehlin....so I doubt anyone on this board has heard of her.

            I'll admit, I expected someone a little more babe-ish.

But her wisdom is unmatched. We really do need to ban that toxic gas!

She calls herself "the Food Babe". That makes it more funny.

She is from Charlotte, so I have seen quite a bit about her over the last couple of years. Some group at my employer brought her in to to talk. I didn't go, but when they sent out the email, I read a little bit about what she said, and she immediately struck me as an anti-science wacko. Every so often there will be an article about her in the local paper, and I wonder "Don't people know she is full of crap?" I think it is beginning to catch up to her. At least I hope so.

I think she's attractive. Her boobs body, not her brain.

If she were LDS, would she be invited to speak at FIRM?

How many books has SHE read?

(She would probably need a new photo for the flyer....)
