Thinking about getting a new set of clubs...

I think it's about time to retire my old MP-14's and get something new. I'm partial to blades, so looking to replace them with something similar. Anybody have suggestions?

All of the major brands are going to be similar when it comes to blades. I suppose the question would be how much you want to spend and go from there.

      Have you lost your groove?

You've either lost your grooves, or you just got called to be a bishop.

If you're good enough to play blades, there's only two reasons to switch clubs: 1. Your grooves are wearing out or 2. You anticipate your game will imminently deteriorate cause youre getting old, or because you'll be too busy to practice your golf game.

If its the former, I'd try Nike, Ping, or anyone else with a blade reputation. Just make sure that whatever you buy won't be ruled illegal next year when they issue the new groove standards.

If the latter, it's oversize clubs for you, buddy.
