  • SLC hotel recommendation

Wife and I are going to be doing a turn around trip to Utah this weekend and need a place to crash Saturday night. Anyone have a good recommendation for a nice hotel in the SLC area? I'm not a Motel 6 kinda guy, but doesn't need to be lap of luxury either. Actually willing to stay anywhere between Provo and Ogden.

If it was me I would do the Little America and the Sunday brunch. If that is out of your budget then call up Lebowski and ask him if you and your wife can crash on his pull-out couch bed.

Little America is nice. I stayed in the Grand American once, but that's probably more ritz than you want. Hotel Monaco is a good hotel and they used to put live goldfish in your room.

Grand America is only $200 on Priceline and Little America is $99. Is it twice the price better?

We've always liked the Hotel Monaco downtown. We like the restaurant on the first floor as well, Bambara.

            Live goldfish... Yum.

There are several Best Westerns in town. In fact, I drove by one in Midvale just yesterday. Convenient location right off the freeway.

                You're welcome.
