That's how we roll in Sanpete

So yesterday the school bus that takes my 6 year old and 10 year old to school had a broken heater, and several windows were frozen in the down position and the bus driver didn't say anything to my wife when she dropped the kids off and oh, by the way, it was -18° F.

The bus drivers take their buses home each night and apparently the bus driver's kids were playing with the windows and several froze overnight in an open position. My wife didn't notice this, because really, who would think to look.

Sometimes living in Sanpete County is like living on Mars.

The bus drivers take their buses home each night? If they need to make a late night run to Walgreens, do they sometimes just take the bus?

My kids in elementary school aren't allowed to go outside for recess if it's under 25 degrees. They've been stuck inside all January.

Especially if all the martians were inbred turkey farmers.

There cars are at home, not at the school.

At our school, the recess threshold is 20 degrees. The frozen bus threshold is at least 38 degrees cooler than that.
