Time to start blaming Californians for all our woes. No way Idaho and Montana (and Oregon ) are some of the highest in the nation without you folks parachuting in and paying cash for our homes.

(Disregard this if you want to pay cash for my home).

I heard this was about 300-400 lbs of ~45-year-old dynamite, was 'kind of powdery" (weeping/excreting nitroglycerin?), and was in a shed sitting next to a 2500-gallon diesel tank. Guy worked as a contractor, but the extended family business also involves an aggregate quarry.

I imagine his neighbors are kinda happy this is being dealt with, lol!

The devastation to the mosquito and raccoon population would be incalculable. Damage to the driving range would have been sad though. The course itself, meh.

          • I’ve said this before, but Logan and Cache Valley are just wonderful. It is the best of Utah IMHO. And memo to the church, as long as you built the Nauvoo and Provo city temples retro-like, there’s no reason not to continue doing that. The Logan temple and its place in town is inspiring. Keep building like that thank you.

Also, petition to have houses surrounding all retro temples adopt the 20-40’s era. It works in Logan.

My Great-great-grandfather Johan Sorensen emigrated from Norway. He was a skilled woodworker who helped to build the staircases in the Logan Temple. Unfortunately, that was all gutted when the Church remodeled the temple in the 1970's.

I think the Church learned from that and has tried to preserve more original interior work on subsequent remodels of pioneer era temples.

Well, at least the exterior is OG.

                Cool family story Bo.
