    Happy 12 Day

    Anyone got anything planned for 12/12/12? My cousin is getting married today. No excuse for ever forgetting anniversary in this case.

    The guy on the radio was suggesting that everyone have a nooner today at 12. Not a bad idea.

                                          I talked to an older guy last night that said today was going to be a busy day at the Draper temple. Lots of marriages. He said it was also true on 10/11/12 and has heard the comment frequently that the brides want their husbands to be able to remember their anniverary. Personally, I don't see how getting married on 10/11/12 would necessarily trigger anything leading up to October 11th each year, but maybe that's just me.

                                              In case anyone's interested, today only (apparently) Jet Blue has some one-way fares for $12. They seem to be limited to weekdays, but I found several $12 fares between Long Beach and Oakland. I heard someone got one from Long Beach to Portland.

                                                  My riding buddy's daughter turned 12 on 12-12-12. And she was born at 12:21, so the numbers don't vary much. She even made the community paper!

                                                      Witness for four weddings, including one at noon. Three may last -- at least 2 years. The one at 10:12? I'm not so sure. He wanted to plead "no contest."
