I forgot all about music and culture of Afghanistan. That professor was a riot and our final was done as a group at an Indian restaurant.

I must have taken the hard route. Can I post about my easiest C?

Electrical Engineering for Non-majors. It was actually a hellish class at the U required for all the other engineering disciplines and taught by the EE department. It was like they enjoyed toying with all the lesser engineers, in their opinion, by making the class inordinately difficult.

At least that's what everyone said. "They" also said that SLCC offered an EE class that the U would accept as transfer credit so one summer I signed up for a single class at SLCC, knocked out a ridiculously easy class, and then transferred the credits back to the U.

Golf. A friend (former Utah Junior Open champion) and I needed 0.5 credits of P.E. in order to graduate, so we took Intermediate Golf. The instructor was about to kick us out because we were "overqualified", but he was a PGA Pro who was working on a master's thesis about the effect of strength training on golf performance. He said he'd give us an A but we had to do some simple strength training and play at least three rounds a week (usually with him), and periodically hit the range so he could measure any increase in our drives. I loved that class, although my improvement was not stellar.

I took a D&C class where the entire grade consisted of a mid-term and final that required you to be able to identify each section based on a summary...it was basically an exercise in memorization. I never went to the lectures, just showed up for the two tests.

I had another religion class where a substantial portion of the grade consisted of turning in a journal of spiritual events that we were supposed to keep throughout the semester. My buddy and I wrote it the night before I had to turn it in. It was a nice piece of fiction, and more than a little inspiring.

I loved this class. Indoors at night during the winter. The teacher was good and really helped my game.

I took Advanced Reporting while I was an intern at the Deseret News. I wouldn't the Deseret News was easy, but technically my Deseret News internship was a separate thing. I was killing two birds with one stone. I just turned in my newspaper clippings to the professor and I rarely went to class.
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

                      Beginning Bowling

Teacher said if someone bowled a 200 game they got an A. I bowled a 229 the first day of class.
I guess that's my answer as well. Spring 78.

Post mission we did a FHE and I rolled a 286 with 9 strikes in a row. Even kept the score sheet for several years. I got a lot of attention that night from a cute eyed blonde from Anaheim. She told me she was on birth control pills to help with her cycle. It was only 3 months later when I figured out what she was saying, but by then it was too late.

I didn't really get what she was implying, and as I was off my mission only 2 months at the time, I had the perseverance of a eunuch.
