    Creepy message boards

The other night, I was talking with my dad about NHL arenas, and we were trying to remember the old name of where the Edmonton Oilers used to play (Northlands Coliseum, BTW). I googled "NHL arena" (I meant to add an 's' to the end) and the first result was a forum devoted to hockey. I enjoy talking hockey, so I decided to join up.

They had a Blues-specific portion within the forum, and I responded to one of the posts. I got three comments to my user profile and one message to my inbox within four or five hours, all giving different variations on the theme "great to see you here! let me know if you have any questions".

I understand getting an automated message from the site admin, but four messages after that? It felt very creepy.

You're being watched. It's not paranoia, you're just very perceptive.

Could be a message board that is hurting for membership. How many people post in the Blues part of the forum?
